Biography
Born in Punta Arenas, Chile in 1964, Dragmic studied Graphic Design at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile. Once graduated, she returned to Punta Arenas where she began to work independently in design, and parallel in painting, with a special interest in the local nature and in the iconographies related to the aborigines that inhabited the area.
In 1990 she moved to Santiago where she continued with the design work independently and participated in different workshops with outstanding artists such as Concepcion Balmes and Jose Basso and in the Extension Center of the Catholic University of Chile.
The theme is always related to nature, cold atmospheres, isolation and solitude.
She has exhibited in different galleries and cultural centers in Chile and abroad.
